Professionally guided walking tours are 1-2 hours of mild to moderate exercise on wooded trails. A SmuggsPass is required to participate in any guided walks.

Strap on your hiking boots from this challenging climb to the highest peak in Vermont. When the summit is attained, vistas of New York, New Hampshire, Lake Champlain and perhaps even Canada may be seen! This is the most strenuous hike on the menu, twice the size of Sterling Pong hike, so come prepared. CLOSE

Stowe Recreation Path Walk & Farmers' Market Ages 8 & older Sunday 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm A gentle walk through the village of Stowe along a paved recreation path leads you to the weekly Farmers Market. Enjoy live music and shopping with a variety of vendors ranging from organic local produce, meats and cheeses to handmade crafts, and prepared cold and hot foods. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Vermont Maple Walk All ages. Sunday, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm & Tuesday 9:00 am - 10:30 am Enjoy a leisurely walk through the woods while learning to identify the different types of maple trees and techniques involved in maple sugaring- a time honored Vermont Tradition. Bring home a sample of pure maple syrup! Approximately 1.5 miles. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Gazebo.
Waterfall Walk Ages 7 & older Monday 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Walk through the beautiful autumn woods to the Brewster River Gorge, a 75 foot cascade of water that tumbles through and around boulders into a gentle pool below. This forested walk is loaded with photo opportunities. Approximately 2 miles. Intermediate. Transportation provided. Pre-registration required, space is limited. Meet at the Gazebo.
Apple Walk Tuesday 9:00 am - 10:30 am & Saturday 11:00 am - 12:30 pm Join us on this relaxing stroll through the local countryside. Enjoy a finish line treat of fresh Vermont grown apples. Approximately 1.5 miles. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Gazebo.
Scenic Missisquoi Rail Trail Walk & Boston Post Dairy Farm Store Ages 12 & older Tuesday, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Travel north to the Dairy Capital of the World. Walk along an old railroad bed that has been converted into a 4 season recreation trail while enjoying the meandering Missisquoi River, sweeping views of Jay Peak, and scenic working farms. Visit the farm and award winning cheese makers at Boston Post Dairy and shop their store with an abundance of local products. Visit their dairy and learn about life on the farm. Please bring lunch or snacks. Approximately 2.5 miles. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Transportation provided. Pre-registration required, space is limited. Meet at the Gazebo.
Bootleggers' Basin Wike Wednesday, 9:00 am Follow our guides to explore the natural beauty of Vermont at Smugglers' meadow reservoir. Wike the perimeter and enjoy some of the best views that the Resort has to offer. Intermediate. Meet at the Gazebo.

Mansfield View Foliage Walk Thursday, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm A view of Mt. Mansfield forms the background of Mills Riverside Park in the nearby town of Jericho. Take in the scenic vista and walk along the trails that meander through forests and meadows ending at the Jericho Farmers' Market. Transportation provided. Mushroom Hunting Friday, 9:00 am - 10:30 am Explore the woods at Smuggs in search of mushrooms! This educational walk will teach you how to locate and identify a variety of wild mushrooms, such as chanterelles, boletes and morels. Walk will range between 1-2 miles and may include some off-trail exploration. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Meet at the Gazebo.
Rail Trail Brewery Walk Ages 12 & up Friday, 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm Join us for a beautiful walk along the Lamoille rail trail with scenic views and river solitude. This walk will end at Lost Nation Brewery where you can relax at their outdoor beer garden and taste the fine beer and food this local craft brewery has to offer (fee based). Intermediate. Covered Bridge Walk Saturday, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm This easy stroll along the Lamoille River will bring you to the "Poland" covered bridge, a burr arch design that was built in the 1880's. Stop in scenic Jeffersonville before returning to the Smugglers' village. Approximately 2 miles. Easiest, suitable for all abilities. Transportation provided.
