Over the years, Smugglers' has been single-minded in its approach to providing exceptional family vacations. That's why we built our state-of-the-art child care center - TREASURES. We have created a wonderland for infants and toddlers that is more accessible and more convenient for parents. Most importantly, while your children frolic in this fully-certified center, you can rest assured that we continue to care for them with the same dedication and professional staff that has always been here for your family.

TREASURES has some very special features for both kids and parents including air conditioning, giant fish tanks in every room, a multitude of age-appropriate toys, tiny toilets and small sinks, 5,400 square feet of indoor space, over 4,000 square feet of outdoor playground, one-way mirror viewing for parents, and easy drop off and pick up.
At TREASURES your infants and toddlers are in good hands with our caring counselors. Many of the staff are trained in first aid, CPR, child development and behavior management. And, our child-to-caregiver ratio assures full attention and the best possible care. Entertaining your kids will be no challenge at all!
These little ones have fun indoors and out. Inside they'll enjoy floor mats, climbing structures, crawling, and object and spatial play. Outside there are swings, backpacks, strollers and a spacious screened-in play space.
Little Dippers - 17 months to 2 1/2 years
This group spends time together listening to music, singing, creating arts and crafts, chasing bubbles, storytelling with circle games or just having quiet time. Outside, they can pitch pebbles in the pond, have a picnic in the gazebo or play in the paddling pools, sandbox or on the swings.
Little Rascals - 2 1/2 to 3 years
These tykes take mini-hikes around the Resort, have lunch and snacks at the gazebo, visit the nature center and splash in Little Smugglers' Lagoon. Inside they'll enjoy circle time, singing and stories, arts and crafts, fun with blocks, games and toys.

Children are encouraged to arrive before 9:30 am
to maximize their participation in morning activities.

Evening Babysitters:
TREASURES will help to arrange a private caregiver for evenings in your vacation home. Babysitters will entertain your children at home with games and stories, or take them to evening family activities if you wish. 24 hour advance reservation suggested.
Daytime Babysitters
Most families with young children use TREASURES for their daytime childcare needs. If your child requires individual attention, daytime babysitters may be available to care for your child in your vacation home. 24 hour advance notice is necessary.
Babysitters: A non-refundable $4 finders fee per babysitter is paid to TREASURES. A $10/hour, first child, $1/hour each additional child payment is made directly to babysitter for this service. Large groups of children will require multiple sitters. Advance reservations required, space available basis. Once we have confirmed your babysitter, changes in arrival time of the sitter may not be feasible. Call 802-644-1193 to make your arrangements for babysitters.
