TREASURES — All-Day Child Care
As a family vacation destination, Smugglers’ Notch Resort is dedicated to providing fun for all ages, and that includes making sure there are plenty of choices for our youngest guests!
Our year-round childcare program is based on the concept that young children should be active learners and develop at their own pace. Our kind and patient staff of this state-licensed child care center are specialists in non-recurring child care and help children successfully transition into unfamiliar surroundings. Your infants and toddlers are in good hands with our caring counselors. TREASURES staff are trained in first aid, CPR, child development, and behavior management. Our staff participates in ongoing and relevant early childhood training. Also, our child-to-caregiver ratio ensures full attention and the best possible care. Entertaining your kids will be no challenge at all! For the peace of mind and comfort of visiting families, TREASURES strives for consistent caregiver scheduling during a child’s stay in the center. In addition, the Brightwheel App provides up-to-date information on your child’s day so you stay informed.
Placement by Age
TREASURES features three open and bright classrooms with developmentally appropriate toys and activities. Children are grouped in programs by age.
Fireflies – 6 weeks to 16 months
These little ones have fun indoors and out. Inside, they’ll enjoy floor mats, climbing structures, crawling, and object and spatial play. Outside, there are swings, backpacks, strollers, and a spacious screened-in play space.
Little Dippers – 17 months to 2 1/2 years
This group spends time together listening to music, dancing, singing, painting, squishing play-dough, chasing bubbles, building with blocks, storytelling with circle games or sitting on laps and reading. Outside, they can find rocks and flowers and bugs on a nature walk, dig in the sandbox, roll trucks, bounce balls, balance on logs, splash in the water table or enjoy swinging.
Little Rascals – 2 1/2 to 3 years
These tykes enjoy circle time, singing, stories arts and crafts, create with magna-tiles and blocks, participate in dramatic play, and enjoy playing games with new friends. Our Rascals may also participate in mini hikes, outside water play and sandbox time on their fenced in playground at the Treasures Childcare center. When available the children also venture out to participate in the weekly creature feature.
TREASURES Child Care Center
We have created a wonderland for infants and toddlers that is accessible and convenient for parents.
TREASURES has some very special features for both kids and parents including giant fish tanks in every room, a multitude of age-appropriate toys, tiny toilets and small sinks, 5,400 square feet of indoor space, over 4,000 square feet of outdoor playground, one-way mirror viewing for parents, and easy drop off and pick up.

TREASURES fills up quickly, and the number of spaces is limited by age group. We recommend you book your space at the time you reserve your vacation package.
Children are encouraged to arrive at TREASURES before 9:30 am to maximize their participation in morning activities.
Yes, but we suggest you call first. Walk-ins are welcome based on space availability.
Child care cancellations 24 hours prior receive a full refund; less than 24 hours receive a 50% refund; a no-show results in no refund.
