How to get to Smugglers' Notch Resort

Traveling to & from Canada.
Beginning January 31, 2008, U.S. and Canadian citizens 19 years and older who enter the U.S. at land and sea ports of entry from within the Western Hemisphere will need to present government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license as proof of identity, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate, or a passport. Children age 18 and under will be able to enter with proof of citizenship. Verbal claims of citizenship and identity alone will not be sufficient to establish identity and citizenship for entry into the United States.
U.S. resident aliens will also need a Green Card.
All other foreign country residents will need their valid passport with I94 document. If you are crossing the American/Canadian border and do not have your I94 document with you, you will need your valid passport and a visa. There will be a nominal fee to prepare the I94 documentation for you.

Amtrak Train
Train Service is available up and down the East Coast of The United States via Amtrak. The closest depot to Smugglers’ Notch Resort, is Essex Junction, Vermont, approximately 25 miles from the Resort, about a 40 minute drive.
Airport/Amtrak Transfers
A convenient van shuttle service is available to Smugglers' Notch Resort with 48 hours advance reservations from Burlington International Airport or Essex Junction Amtrak.
$45 per adult each way, one child (17 & under) per paying adult is free. Each additional child is $35 each way. Two-person minimum fare. Contact Smugglers’ Notch Reservations office at: 1-800-419-4615 or 802-644-8851 ext. 1389.
Car Rentals
Burlington International Airport has multiple car rental agencies both on and off site. It is recommended that during peak holiday time periods, or if you have a special request for specific size of vehicle, a reservation should be made in advance of your arrival in Burlington.
