Smuggs offers four season Vermont family vacation experiences unlike any other!
An old-fashioned July 4th celebration in Jeffersonville with parade at 10:00 am, carnival with games and vendors, kids' games, live entertainment from 66 City Band playing classic rock tunes, and food. Don't forget the world famous frog jumping contest!
And back at Smugglers' ... Starting at 5:00 pm, the Resort hosts a tasty Firemen's Barbecue on the Green with proceeds benefiting the local fire department. Goodtime Charlie hosts music for all ages on the resort village green from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Also on the green, the Vermont National Guard 40th Army Band plays their mix of classic favorites and patriotic tunes beginning at 8:00 pm. At dusk, enjoy the spectacular fireworks against the backdrop of the Green Mountains. It's a full day of celebration! Happy Independence Day!
Hosting the second United States Junior Disc Golf Championships at a family resort with amazing disc golf courses only makes sense! With only one round of tournament play happening each day, this allows for families to enjoy all the amazing activities that Smuggs provides! There is something for everyone to do! Celebrate the culture of the great northeast at Smugglers’ Notch Resort's 5th annual FallFest, where a blend of outdoor recreation and Disc Golf championship competition come together for an unforgettable two-night celebration. More details coming soon.
Craft beer tastings and live music. $10 per person, includes four 4 ounce samples of delicious Fiddlehead brews: Rarefied Air, Martin Wasp, Ghost Hits, and Fiddlehead IPA. New England's oldest and largest quilt event celebrates over 40 years of sharing the beauty, creativity, artistry, and history of quilt making! Displays of more than 400 new and old quilts, vendors, workshops, appraisals. In this, our 43rd year, we are looking forward to a full agenda that celebrates the history of quilt making, including an exhibit of antique quilts, as well as the opportunities and direction of the modern quilter. Our program embraces the past and introduces the innovations created by new generations of quilters.

Come to the Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival and let your spirit soar as more than 25 hot-air balloons fill the sky. View breathtaking launches, enjoy live entertainment, all while sitting back and relaxing with offerings in the beer and wine garden.
Admission: $10 (Kids under 12 are free)
This 33rd annual celebration will include a children's corner with a variety of activities (nominal fees may apply), live entertainment, delicious food, and a beer and wine garden. Festival attendees are welcome to join in on the high flying fun with hot-air balloon rides priced at $300 per person - advanced reservations are recommended. Tethered rides in the hot-air balloons will be available for $10 per person. Reservations are not required. All rides are weather permitting and to the discretion of the pilot.
