Heading to the Upper Mountains

3 Mountain Logo

We received 2 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. We could see another inch of new snow overnight. It is partly cloudy and 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for cloudy skies, a chance of snow showers, an inch of accumulation possible, windy, a high of 21 degrees at the base and 15 degrees at higher elevations. Weather permitting tomorrow, we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 46 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 43 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Dixie’s Knoll, Smugglers’ Alley, Log Jam, Goat Path, Jolly Rodger, and skier’s right on Upper FIS for a total of 210 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 50 inches.
