We received 2 inches of new snow today and 10 inches in the past 6 days. We could see another 2 to 4 inches of new snow tonight. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies, snow showers another inch of accumulation possible with a high of 37 degrees at the base and 31 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including Madonna 1. We have 51 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 38 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Jolly Rodger, Dixie’s Knoll, Shuttle, Garden Path, Goat Path, and the skier’s right of Upper FIS. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 12 to 50 inches. Currently, it is snowing and 19 degrees at the summit of Sterling.
