Madonna & Sterling

3 Mountain Logo

Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. Both Madonna I and Sterling lifts are running today and 43 trails are open including Doc Dempsey’s, Freefall, and Smugglers’ Alley. It’s even spitting snow at the higher elevations. Tomorrow could be a repeat of that scenario. It was noteworthy to see a certain trio of skiers: guitarist/bassist/mandolinist Rudy Dauth (Smuggs House Band, Chad Hollister band, etc), keyboardist Steve “Punque” Vance (Smuggs House Band alum, Showtime co-creator, Hoopla, etc) and woodwinds player Chris Peterman (Eight02, Chad Hollister band, etc). Alas, today was my last day on the slopes this season. But, YOU have one more day… SUNDAY, APRIL 13th is the last day of the 2024-2025 Winter Season. Ski you in December.

The Top of Madonna has been commandeered by Pirates!

Putting away me Pirate Ski Gear for the season.
