Fantastic conditions

3 inches of new snow today, 20 inches in the past 3 days, and 38 inches in December so far! “We have mid-winter conditions, and I have early-season legs!” I have heard this many times, and I completely understand. Tomorrow, we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 23 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 11 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Black Snake and Smugglers’ Alley, for a total of 40 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 14 to 40 inches. We are presently making snow on Lower Morse Liftline, Sam’s Run, Meadowlark, and Midway. Currently, it is cloudy and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 25 degrees at the base and 22 degrees at higher elevations. I can’t wait to play in the powder again tomorrow!
