A little accumulation on top

3 Mountain Logo

We received an inch of new snow on top overnight and 5 inches in the past 24 hours. We have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 71 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 27 trails have been groomed for today, including Dixie’s Knoll, Birch Run, and skier’s right on Upper FIS, for a total of 120 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 10 to 36 inches. Currently, it is foggy and 29 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies, the chance of a snow shower early, and patchy fog with a high of 42 degrees at the base and 35 degrees at higher elevations. The George Tormey Challenge race is being held today on Sterling Mountain.
