Tomorrow is the Opening Day of the 2024 – 2025 Winter Season! Our snowmakers have been hard at work, night and day to build up our base depths. On top of that, we have a Winter Weather Advisory starting later today and going through until early Friday morning with 10 to 18 inches of accumulation possible at higher elevations and 9 to 15 inches of accumulation possible at the base. This is going to make for a wonderful start to the season! Tomorrow we plan to have the Sterling Lift opening at 8:30 am. We plan to have 5 trails open with terrain for intermediates and experts. Upper Rumrunner, Crossover, Treasure Run, and Lower Exhibition will be groomed for tomorrow. Smugglers’ Alley will be open and ungroomed for tomorrow. More trails may open throughout the day. Tonight’s forecast is periods of snow 3 to 7 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for periods of snow another 3 to 5 inches of accumulation with a high of 30 degrees at the base and 23 degrees at higher elevations. Employees have the green light to ski and ride tomorrow. You can ski/ride from Lot #1 to the Sterling and ski/ride back to Lot #1 from the cut over on Lower Exhibition.
