Due to inclement weather at the summit, we have suspended lift operations today. We plan to have the Sterling Lift operating again tomorrow at 8:30 am. We plan to have 21 trails open with terrain for intermediates and experts. Currently, it is 32 degrees at the summit of Sterling with freezing rain and winds of 20 to 25 mph. The temperature falls tonight and the rain turns to snow. We could see 1 to 3 inches of new snow overnight. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers another inch of accumulation possible with a high of 30 degrees at base and 23 degrees at higher elevations. Colder air returns this week and we will resume snowmaking operations as temperatures allow.
