3* Freeski Competition tomorrow

3 Mountain Logo

Madonna Liftline will be closed from mid-station down to Link for the event. Tomorrow we plan to have all 8 lifts operating on 3 big mountains. We have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. We received an inch of new snow in the past 24 hours, 5 inches in the past 2 days, and 25 inches in the past week. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 52 inches. 35 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Shuttle, McPherson’s, Log Jam, Curley’s Cutback, Harvey’s Hideaway, and Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 184 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is 18 degrees at the summit of Sterling with clear skies. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for snow showers 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 26 degrees at the base and 21 degrees at higher elevations. It’s going another fantastic day on the slopes!
