“The ski runs were long, varied, and majestic at this “throw-back” resort. We went to ski and skiing we did. My family had a wonderful time and would definitely return. Smuggs is not nearly as polished as other resorts, the ski slopes were on par, if not better, than other places. While there were little to no lines to get onto the lifts, the ascent was slow due to what I assume is the age of the lifts. Every lift was a 2 seater and moved slowly. While this was more of a problem in negative temperatures, it was actually nice to have additional time to take in the views. Everyone we met was very pleasant.”
