Uphill access remains available on open trails on Sterling from 5:30 am – 7:30 am daily and on Morse Mountain from 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm daily. Nighttime access on Sterling and Madonna will remain closed due to very limited terrain combined with ongoing snowmaking and grooming operations. Once we get more terrain open, we’ll be getting some evening access going on the upper mountains. Unfortunately, looking at the weather, that is still likely to be a couple of weeks out. We sincerely appreciate the cooperation of the vast majority of uphill users who are adhering to the guidelines. As for the poachers, you have not gone unnoticed. Be smart out there people, there’s not much snow.
