The Village Lift and Sterling Lift are presently on wind hold. 3 Mountain and Morse Mountain ticket sales are now closed for today. We have reached a comfortable capacity. We received 4 to 5 inches of new snow overnight and 11 inches in the past 2 days. Currently, it is snowing hard and 23 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Today’s forecast is calling for snow with another 3 to 5 inches of accumulation possible and windy with a high of 33 degrees. We have 41 skiable trails and 23 lift accessible trails open today. We plan to have 4 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. 19 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 85 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 46 inches.
