New snow

We received 6 to 8 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. Currently, it is still snowing and 11 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Today’s forecast is cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers with an inch of accumulation possible and a high of 22 degrees. Today we have 4 lifts operating. The Village Lift will have a delayed opening until 10 am for grooming and will be open to mid-station. The Sterling Lift and Sir Henry’s Glider are open. Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift is also open to mid-station. We have 11 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. All 11 trails have been groomed for today, that’s 39 acres of freshly groomed terrain. We are presently making snow on Midway, Garden Path, and the base area of the Madonna II Lift.
