Snow in the forecast

Tonight: Snow, mainly after 2 am. The snow could be heavy at times. Temperature rising to around 19 degrees by 5 am. The chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

M. L. King Day: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 31 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches is possible.

Monday Night: Snow before 11 pm, then snow showers likely after 11 pm. Low around -1. Wind chill values as low as -18. Windy, with a west wind of 16 to 21 mph increasing to 23 to 28 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is possible.

We have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. Tomorrow we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Sterling Lift, Madonna II Lift, Village Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Lifts will operate on holiday hours tomorrow. We have 37 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 23 out of the 37 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Playground, Sam’s Run, and Smuggler’s Alley for a grand total of 102 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 8 to 34 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 7 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph.
