Tomorrow we plan to have the Madonna II lift operating from 9 am to 4 pm. We also plan to have Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, Village Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider operating. We will have 18 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. We plan to groom all 18 open trails for a grand total of 82 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 6 to 24 inches. The 1 to 3 inches of new snow that’s in tonight’s forecast will help change the surface conditions. Tomorrow we plan to make snow on Lower Chilcoot during the day, so make sure you have your goggles on if you ride the Madonna II Lift. Mulcahy’s Link to Lower Chilcoot is the one way down from the Madonna II Lift tomorrow. It is cloudy and 30 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is cloudy skies with a chance of some snow showers with less than an inch of accumulation possible. The high temperature at the base tomorrow is 27 degrees and 21 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Temperatures will fall a few degrees during the day and it will be a little breezy, so dress accordingly.

Uphill travel is closed on all 3 mountains for snowmaking and grooming operations.

This weekend the featured beer at the apres parties at Bootlegger’s and the Black Bear Tavern is 14th Star.
