We received a dusting to one inch of new snow. Currently, it is cloudy and 17 degrees at the summit of Sterling, with winds of 15 to 25 mph. Today’s forecast calls for snow showers with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible, a high of 29 degrees at the base, and 23 degrees at higher elevations. Tonight’s forecast is snow showers, with another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible. We could see another 2 to 4 inches of new snow on Friday night. Today, we have Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, Village Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 20 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. This weekend, we plan to have the Madonna II lift operating. 17 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley and Garden Path, for a total of 74 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 14 to 38 inches.
