We are presently making snow on McPherson’s, Lower Madonna Liftline, and Playground. Today we have 4 lifts operating; Sterling, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. The Madonna II Lift is closed due to snowmaking. Today we have 25 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 20 out of the 25 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley, Curley’s Cutback, and Howie’s Wanderer for a grand total of 77 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. Currently, it is 15 degrees at the summit of Sterling with flurries and winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies, breezy with a chance of light snow and a high of 25 degrees in the Village, and a high of 21 degrees at the summit.
Uphill travel is open on Morse Mountain today from 5:00 pm till 10:00 pm.
