Rockin’ Ron Carter for Hugh. This has got to be one of the best Novembers on record, at least as far as snow goes… 66 inches of total accumulation and counting! More snow is in the forecast as well. I was talking to Mike McAdoo of Mtn Ops and he said today’s wet and heavy snow will definitely help out the base. All the trails on Sterling Mountain are open today. We anticipate Madonna I running this coming weekend. Grab your skis and boards and hit the POW NOW!

Another great day ending with some more snow
Snow
We received another inch of new snow at the summit this afternoon bringing our season total up to 58 inches. There is snow in the forecast most of this week with up to a foot of new snow possible by Wednesday. Snow showers will continue for a couple of days with another system of snow showers coming in on Friday. Steadier cooler temperatures also for this week.
Lift and Trails
Tuesday we plan to have the Sterling lift and Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet operating with 30 trails open. 6 trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a grand total of 24 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Weather permitting we plan to have the Madonna I lift operating again this weekend and all the snow in the forecast is going to help.
Jumping for joy over the amazing conditions

Monster Storm!
Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. There’s lots of forecasts, prognostications, and Nostradamifications out there, but I’m going with 2 to 3 feet of new snow by Thursday! I got to take epic runs today with my Toronto friends Eire, Erieann, and Marie. The snow was creamy and dreamy and falling steadily. Upper FIS was soft moguls with plenty o’ pow and Playground was carvin-a-licious. Shout out to Rena from Patrol for some advice on ski bindings.
BTW – 8 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IN THE PAST 12 HOURS!!!!!!!!
Snowfall totals have increased
Here we go again
