Winter Solstice Celebration this afternoon
Kick off the festivities at 4:00 pm with Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater in the Meeting House. Followed by Goodtime Charlie, as he hosts a dance party. There will be glow sticks and hot cocoa for the kids.

Lower Chilcoot, Dan’s Ford, and Robin’s Run opened today making our trail count 51 trails. Beautiful sunny skies, mild temperatures, light winds, and a ton of snow is hard to beat!

This weekend we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating. We plan to have 65 trails open with terrain for all ability levels.

18 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley and Black Snake for a grand total of 75 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Today we have 3 lifts operating; Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider with 35 trails open. This weekend we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 65 trails open.

For seniors on the hill, not over the hill!
The Smugglers’ 55+ Club is for seniors who like to ski (alpine or nordic), snowboard, snowshoe, and enjoy being with their peers. Non-skiers are welcome, too. The goal is simple: get out of the four walls, break the daily routine, meet people and be active.
They gather every Wednesday at 9:00 am in the Village Lodge with a continental breakfast and socializing followed at 9:30 am with a short meeting. You will enjoy outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, Nordic or Alpine skiing and snowboarding. One may join a skill level group or ski/snowboard on your own.
The afternoon program will start on January 2, 2019, beginning at 1:00 pm unless otherwise announced during the morning meeting.
Every Wednesday we will be SKIING IN THE MORNING.
Meetings: 9:00 am on Wednesdays in the Village Lodge starting the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving.

Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. We’ve received 5 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours and it’s still snowing! Snowmaking is also in progress on Lower F.I.S. and Mulcahy’s Link. Speaking of Mulcahy’s Link, it was great to see former Smuggs President Bob Mulcahy at our Employee Rally this past weekend.
