It just started snowing and we could get up to 11″ by Thursday! The Snowmakers have also been busy – last night it was on Morse Mountain.

We are presently making snow on Garden Path, Midway, Meadowlark, and Lower Morse Liftline. Today we have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We have 4 lifts operating, Madonna II, Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to mid-station. We have 33 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 11 out of the 33 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 40 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 10 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Today’s forecast is sunny skies early with increasing clouds, the chance of flurries, and a high of 29 degrees.
We received 3 to 4 inches of new snow overnight and 12 inches in the past 3 days. We are presently making snow on Garden Path and Lower Morse Liftline. Today we plan to have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We plan to have 4 lifts operating, Madonna II, Sterling, Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet, and Mogul Mouse Magic Lift open to mid-station. We now have 28 trails open with terrain for all ability levels.

Tomorrow we plan to have Sterling Lift and Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet operating with terrain for beginners, intermediates, and experts. 6 out of the 13 open trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a grand total of 22 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for sunny skies early with increasing clouds and a high of 22 degrees.
I want thank our snowmakers for all their hard work last night! They were busy making snow on the upper part of the Zone Terrain Park. We are stockpiling the snow in the Upper Zone! We have many events this season and one of my favorites is the Chillin n’ Grillin Tail Party / Pond Skimming. The snow in the Upper Zone is in reserve for when we need to build the “pond.” Our snowmakers will be busy again tonight in the Upper Zone.
We received an inch of new snow last night, 7 inches in the past 5 days, and 313 inches this season so far!
We are 100 percent open! Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I lift. We have all 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 24 to 54 inches

This photo was taken last night on the Cat Trax Express Evening Upper Mountain Tour. There was not a cloud in the sky with amazing views in every direction! We could easily see Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks in New York, and the Presidential Range in New Hampshire.
Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We have 47 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches. 46 trails have been groomed for today, including Upper FIS, Smugglers’ Alley, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 165 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

Last night we made snow on Garden Path, Lower Morse Liftline, and the Magic Learning Trail. Today our snowmakers were busy on Midway. Tonight our snowmakers are headed over to Sterling Mountain. They plan to make snow on Rumrunner, Treasure, and Lower Exhibition.
Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating. We plan to have 48 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches. 46 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Upper FIS, Smugglers’ Alley, and Curley’s Cutback for a grand total of 165 acres of freshly groomed terrain.
Currently it is 6 degrees at the summit of Sterling with beautiful sunny skies and winds of 15 to 25 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with temperatures between 6 and 18 degrees.
We have 48 skiable trails and 39 lift accessible trails open today. The Madonna I lift is presently on wind hold. The Village Lift will have a slight delay due to snowmaking. We plan to have 7 lifts operating today, Sterling, Morse Highlands, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Village, Madonna II, Sterling T-Bar, and Sir Henry’s Glider. 161 acres of freshly groomed terrain for today. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches. 161 acres of freshly groomed terrain.
