We received 5 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, 18 inches in the past 3 days, and 138 inches this season so far! Last night, we made snow on Upper Chilcoot, Mulcahy’s Link, Waterfall, and McPherson’s. Tomorrow, we plan to have 5 lifts operating: Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Sterling, Village, Madonna II, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 32 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. 19 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Midway, Black Snake, Magic Learning Trail, and Lower Chilcoot, for a total of 109 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is snowing and 5 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 15 mph. We could see 1 to 2 inches of new snow tonight. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for a chance of early snow showers, then skies becoming partly sunny with a high of 17 degrees at the base and 14 degrees at higher elevations. It’s going to be a beautiful day with great conditions!
