Tomorrow we plan to have 7 lifts operating, including the Madonna 1 Lift. We have 75 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 36 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Snow Snake, Howie’s Wanderer, Smugglers’ Alley, Snake Bite, and skier’s right on Upper FIS for a total of 188 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 14 to 52 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 4 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies early increasing clouds, a chance of a late snow shower with a high of 12 degrees at the base and 10 degrees at higher elevations. There is snow in the forecast for tomorrow night 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible.
