Calm before the Winter Storm Warning

3 Mountain Logo

We could see up to a foot of new snow by Sunday! Tonight’s forecast is calling for 3 to 5 inches of new snow. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for periods of snow heavy at times another 3 to 5 inches of accumulation with a high of 31 degrees at the base and 26 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 7 lifts operating, including Madonna 1. 28 trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a total of 155 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and variable with average base depths of 10 to 46 inches. Currently, it is cloudy and 27 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Looks like we have more powder days ahead of us!
