We received an inch of new snow in the past 24 hours and 79 inches in the month of January so far. Currently, it is partly cloudy and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies, windy with a high of 26 degrees at the base and 21 degrees at higher elevations. Hopefully these will not affect lift operations tomorrow. Please check the snow report in the morning for the most up-to-date information. Weather permitting tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including Madonna 1. We have 61 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 31 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Snow Snake, Smugglers’ Alley, Log Jam, Upper FIS, and Curley’s Cutback for a total of 165 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches.
