It was a bluebird day with temperatures reaching into the 20s. We now have 44 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Tomorrow, we plan to have 5 lifts operating: Madonna II, Sterling, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. 15 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Meadowlark, Garden Path, Lower Chilcoot, and Smugglers’ Alley, for a total of 90 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 10 to 40 inches. We are presently making snow on Midway. It is 22 degrees at the summit of Sterling, with clear skies. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 26 degrees at the base and 30 degrees at higher elevations.
