It is going to be a great weekend

3 Mountain Logo

We received 6 inches of light fluffy snow in the past 24 hours, 16 inches in the past 3 days, and 33 inches in the past week. Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna 1 Lift. We now have 51 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. 26 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Smugglers’ Alley, Garden Path, Chilcoot, Black Snake, and Meadowlark for a total of 141 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is partly sunny and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 15 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for snow showers 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible with a high of 19 degrees at the base and 15 degrees at higher elevations. Amazing conditions, a little warmer temperatures, and less wind are on the menu this weekend!

This is Brett Ploss, a writer for SnowBrains. He was here today to check out what Smuggs has to offer. Judging by this photo, I think he liked what he found!
