The Madonna I Lift is presently on wind hold. We have 63 skiable trails and 54 lift-accessible trails open today. We have 6 lifts operating today: Village, Madonna II, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Sterling, Morse Highlands, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We received 2 inches of new snow overnight and 3 inches in the past 2 days. Currently, it is partly sunny and 12 degrees at the summit of Sterling with southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph. Today’s forecast calls for skies to become mostly sunny and windy, with a high of 29 degrees at the base and 23 degrees at higher elevations. 31 trails have been groomed for today, including Snow Snake, Smugglers’ Alley, and McPherson’s, for 165 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. Tonight’s forecast is calling for 1 to 2 inches of new snow. Birch Run Terrain Park is open and was groomed last night.
