Currently, it is 48 degrees at the summit of Sterling with light rain and winds of 15 to 25 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for showers mainly before 1 pm, windy with a high of 57 degrees at the base and 51 degrees at higher elevations. Due to windy and wet conditions Madonna 1 is closed today. We have the Sterling Lift operating with 11 trails open for intermediates and experts. All 11 trails have been groomed for today, including Snake Bite and Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 65 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 10 to 46 inches. Wear something waterproof and enjoy the soft conditions.

    The final day of lift operations on Morse Mountain will be Sunday, March 30th.
    Madonna and Sterling Mountains will continue running March 31 – April 6.
    Sterling only will remain open April 7 – April 11.
    Madonna I (M1) will reopen for one last hurrah April 12 & 13.
