We received 4 inches of new snow on top overnight and 12 inches in the past 4 days. We have all 8 lifts operating on 3 big mountains. We have 77 out of 78 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. The one closed trail is Timberrr! at the Morse Highlands area. 40 trails have been groomed for today, including Drifter, Ruthie’s, Smugglers’ Alley, Jolly Rodger, Snow Snake, Hibernator, and Goat Path for a total of 187 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 52 inches. Currently, it is partly cloudy and 28 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for a chance of mix at the base, all snow at higher elevations 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible, windy with a high of 39 degrees at the base and 34 degrees at the summits.
