It was a wonderful day on the slopes with sunshine and mild temperatures. This trend will continue for the next couple of days. Our amazing team of groomers will be busy tonight. On top of the usual groomed terrain, they will be hitting Goat Path, Shuttle, Harvey’s Hideaway, Lower Pipeline, Jolly Rodger, and Lower Black Bear tonight. 40 trails will be groomed for a total of 197 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 50 inches. Tomorrow we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including Madonna I. We have 48 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Currently, it is partly sunny and 29 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 50 degrees at the base and 46 degrees at higher elevations. Leave the extra layer at home and grab the sunblock! Looking forward to hitting the hill tomorrow.
