3 Mountain Logo

This event was a ton of fun. Birch Run Terrain Park is looking really good! The top half is jumps with one rail and the bottom half is all rails. The terrain park has a nice flow to it, as you go from one feature to the next. There was a great turn out and everyone was having a wonderful time! Today we have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We have 7 lifts operating, including the Madonna 1 Lift. We now have 62 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 27 trails have been groomed for today, including Upper FIS, Smugglers’ Alley, Garden Path, and Lower Chilcoot for a total of 159 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. Currently, it is 26 degrees at the summit of Sterling with cloudy skies and winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers half an inch of accumulation possible, a high of 35 degrees at the base and 30 degrees at higher elevations.
