We received an inch of new snow overnight. Currently, it is snowing and 15 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph, gusting higher. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies, some snow showers, half an inch of accumulation, and windy, with a high of 31 degrees at the base and 23 degrees at higher elevations. The Madonna I Lift is presently on wind hold. We have 71 skiable trails and 56 lift-accessible trails open today. We presently have 7 lifts operating: Madonna II, Sterling, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Morse Highlands, Sterling T-Bar, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. 32 trails have been groomed for today, with a total of 178 acres of freshly groomed terrain.
