Tonight’s forecast is calling for rain with temperatures around 40 degrees. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for rain early, becoming a mix midday, then snow in the afternoon with a high of 43 degrees at the base and 39 degrees at higher elevations. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day. To preserve the snowpack, there will be limited grooming operations tonight. Madonna Mountain will be closed on Monday. Tomorrow, we plan to have 4 lifts operating Sterling, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Morse Highlands, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We will have 42 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 22 trails will be groomed for tomorrow; that’s a total of 122 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 10 to 46 inches.
