Mountain Update:
As of December 27, 2024, Smuggs has 43 of its 78 trails open, 14 of which have been freshly groomed for an optimal experience. Five out of eight lifts are operating, with snow surfaces ranging from packed powder to machine-groomed perfection. Snow depths include 10–16 inches of natural snow and 20–40 inches of man-made snow, ensuring excellent conditions for every skier and rider! To keep the holiday spirit alive, we’re thrilled to announce that Madonna II and Meadowlark opened yesterday. You’ll also find some natural snow trails open on the lower part of the mountain—perfect for those first tracks. Uphill access on upper Madonna will remain available for those looking to earn their turns. Looking ahead, our snowmaking team is hard at work on Midway and Curley’s, with plans to have them ready for this weekend. Stay tuned with our daily snow report and enjoy the snowy magic. ❄️
