The Sterling Lift is now open. All other lifts are on hold. We have 76 skiable trails and 30 lift accessible trails presently open. Currently, it is snowing and 12 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 30 to 50 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for snow, sleet, and freezing rain before 1 pm then becoming all snow later with 2 to 4 inches of new snow possible. We are expecting southeast winds of 32 to 37 mph and gusting to 50 mph at the base. At higher elevations, we are expecting south winds of 60 to 70 mph becoming southwest winds of 37 to 47 mph later in the day. The forecasted temperatures are a high of 32 degrees at the base and 27 degrees at higher elevations. We received 2 inches of new snow overnight, 8 inches in the past 2 days, and 30 inches in the past week! The feature photo is a groomer on Lower Morse Liftline this morning.
