Wonderful weekend

3 Mountain Logo

I went skiing this morning on Sterling and snowboarding in the afternoon on Morse. The sun came out and we had some nice comfortable temperatures. Our snowmakers have been busy on Morse Mountain. There are some big snowmaking whales on Lower Morse Liftline. Currently, it is 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with clear skies. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of snow and mix, breezy, with a high of 34 degrees. We plan to have the Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 28 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 8 to 40 inches. We are presently making snow on Garden Path, Lower Morse Liftline, and the base area of Madonna. 10 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Howie’s Wanderer, and Rumrunner for a total of 45 acres of freshly groomed terrain.
