Skiing & Snowboarding Update:
Smugglers’ Notch is set for a true winter week ahead! While temperatures will remain cold, ranging from single digits to the low 30s, we can expect a mix of sunshine, clouds, and occasional snow showers. Light snow is likely over the weekend, with more consistent snowfall expected later in the week, especially on Thursday.
As of January 3, 2025, Smugglers’ Notch Resort is offering skiing and riding on all three mountains, with 18 out of 78 trails open, 17 of which are groomed, and 5 out of 8 lifts operating. The primary surface conditions are packed powder, with man-made snow depths ranging from 12 to 40 inches. Snowmaking efforts are currently focused on Sterling Mountain, particularly on Black Snake, Snake Bite, and Practice Slope, to enhance trail offerings as temperatures drop.
We’re thrilled to have you with us this week! Here’s to a week of fun, laughter, and winter wonderland magic at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Let’s make some memories!
