Jersey Boys

Rockin’ Ron for Hugh. New Jersey in the House! Former North Jersey resident John meets current South Jersey resident Michael. John is now a local pass holder living in Essex Jct., VT, and Michael and his family have been vacationing at the Resort for 22 years. So, we have some Jersey Boys… just not Frankie Vali, but we do have the 4 seasons here at Smuggs. Anywho, it was great spring skiing today with Michael and Seth Carvi-son! Trail picks were Snow Snake and Lower FIS.

Tomorrow is a different story. Due to the forecast of dramatic temperature drops from the 50’s to the teens, plus precipitation, we plan to operate Madonna II instead of Madonna I. We plan to groom 41 trails and could have a total of 57 trails open, but again that depends on what the weather brings us.

Ice Age on Upper Drifter. I’ve heard it’s the minerals in the water that determine the color of ice. Can anyone tell me what mineral makes this ice yellow?

This Sunday to celebrate St. Patrick’s Weekend, look for Leprechaun Ron on the slopes of Morse Mountain to get your raffle ticket. You might win a Country Store Gift Basket, a FunZone Gift Card, a Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate CD, or a gallon of Maple Syrup. The prizes will be given out at FunZone 2.0 at 3:45 pm and you must be present to win.
