Madonna 1, Madonna 2, and the Sterling Lift will be closed today due to icing, fluctuating temperatures, and winds. We currently have 4 lifts operating, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Morse Highlands, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Today is the last day of lift operations on Morse Mountain. Currently, it is 26 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusting higher. Today’s forecast is calling for freezing rain, windy with a high of 31 degrees. We currently have 11 lift-accessible trails open. All 11 trails have been groomed for today. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 10 to 48 inches. I just took a run on Snow Snake and the surface conditions were soft. Today is a great day to test your gore-tex and enjoy the last day of lift operations on Morse Mountain.
