The Pond Skim and Tailgate Party never disappoints no matter the weather. 100 participants took on the 2 ponds, banked turns, gates, and jumps! Everyone got a little wet even if they did not skim, but a great time was had by all! Tomorrow we plan to have the Sterling Lift and Madonna 2 Lift operating. We have 19 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 16 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Snake Bite, Thomke’s, and McPherson’s for a total of 89 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 10 to 46 inches. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a chance of rain and mix early at lower elevations with a high of 39 degrees, snow and mix early at the summit with a high of 35 degrees.
