We received an inch of new snow today and 10 inches in the past 3 days. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with snow showers with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible on top and a chance of mix at the base, a high of 38 degrees at the base, and 32 degrees at higher elevations. The last day of lift operations this season is Sunday, April 13th. For Closing Weekend we plan to have both the Madonna 1 Lift and Sterling Lift operating. Looks like Spring skiing on Sunday with partly sunny skies, a high of 47 degrees at the base, and 43 degrees at the higher elevations. We plan to have 42 trails open with terrain for intermediates and experts only. 11 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Thomke’s, and Snake Bite for a total of 52 acres of freshly groomed terrain. The trails on Madonna were groomed early this week and will not be groomed again tonight. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 50 inches.
