Today we plan to have the Village Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, Morse Highlands Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all opening at noon. The Village Lift and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift will be open to mid-station, at least to start. We plan to have the Sterling Lift open at 1 pm. The Madonna I Lift and Madonna II Lift will be closed today. We plan to have 41 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 11 trails have been groomed for today for a grand total of 50 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 8 to 30 inches. It is sunny and -21 at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 15 mph. Today’s forecast is sunny skies with a high of 5 degrees at the base and 0 degrees at the summit. Temperatures will be rising throughout the day. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a high of 35 degrees at the base and 29 degrees at the summit of Sterling.

The Nordic Center is open with 15 km of snowshoeing and 17 km of cross-country trails. The small ice rink is also available.

This weekend the featured beverage for the apres sports parties at Bootlegger’s and the Black Bear Tavern is Woodchuck.
