3 Mountain Logo

A freeride competition for skiers and riders. Kids and adults taking on Madonna Liftline from mid-station down to the bottom of Mulcahy’s Link. The new snow that we received last night was just perfect. It was heavy and it stuck to everything. It was fun to watch all of these talented athletes showing off their skills. I was blown away by some of the younger skiers. The adults were impressive also.

We received 5 to 7 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. We have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 4 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 73 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Madonna and Sterling are 100 percent open. 33 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Shuttle, Drifter, Smugglers’ Alley, Jolly Rodger, Garden Path, and Magic Learning Trail for a grand total of 133 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with average base depths of 12 to 54 inches. Currently, it is 27 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies with a high of 36 degrees at the base and 30 degrees at higher elevations.
