Off the beaten path

We received an inch of new snow last night, 16 inches in the past 4 days, and 38 inches in the past 10 days! We are presently making snow from top to bottom on Morse Mountain. We plan to have beginner terrain open very soon. Tomorrow, we plan to have the Sterling Lift, operating with 26 trails open. 7 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Black Snake and Smugglers’ Alley, for a total of 31 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. Currently, it is cloudy and 8 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies with a high of 21 degrees at the base and 17 degrees at the summit.
