We plan to open Midway and Meadowlark tomorrow. This means that you can ski or ride from the Village to the upper mountains and back! We also plan to reopen Black Snake, Practice Slope, and Snake Bite. We are presently making snow on Black Snake, Practice Slope, Midway, Meadowlark, and Snake Bite. There is snow in the forecast this weekend, with 2 to 4 inches possible on Saturday night and another 2 to 4 inches on Sunday. Tomorrow, we plan to have Village Lift, Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 17 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 16 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley and Magic Learning Trail, for a total of 72 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. Currently, it is 13 degrees at the summit of Sterling, with flurries and winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high of 23 degrees at the base and 17 degrees at higher elevations.
