Sunday fun day

3 Mountain Logo

Great spring conditions with corduroy in the morning and corn in the afternoon. The clearing clouds allowed the sun to soften the surfaces. Ski Patrol dropped the ropes on Upper Exhibition, Harvey’s Hideaway, Shuttle, Full Nelson, and Jolly Rodger. I would have to say that Snake Bite was my trail pick of the day. The steep pitch with corn snow is pretty hard to beat. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the mild temperatures and blue skies! Tomorrow will bring us more of the same, with partly sunny skies and a high of 43 degrees. We plan to have 4 lifts operating tomorrow: the Sterling Lift, Madonna I Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift will open at 9 am tomorrow. We have 40 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 33 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Snow Snake, and skier’s right on Upper FIS. Surface conditions are machine groomed and spring conditions with average base depths of 8 to 34 inches. It looks like we have snow in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!
