Keep it coming

3 Mountain Logo

Today was one for the books. Yesterday we had 31 trails open, and now we have 72 trails open! It was snowing very hard this morning, with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation in an hour. This, along with some wind, made for some whiteout conditions early. There were free refills all day long! I got fresh tracks on all 3 mountains. Snow Snake was my favorite on Morse. Full Nelson was the top pick for Sterling, and the Black Hole was my blue ribbon winner for Madonna. It was hero snow, and you could not go wrong today! We received 6 inches of new snow overnight and 15 inches in the past 24 hours. We could see another 4 to 8 inches of snow overnight. Tomorrow’s forecast is periods of snow with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible, breezy, with a high of 36 degrees at the base and 30 degrees at higher elevations. Tomorrow, we plan to have 4 lifts operating: Madonna I, Sterling, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. 32 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Snow Snake, and Smugglers’ Alley, for a total of 123 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 40 inches. Rest up tomorrow is going to be another great day!
